Sweet Dinner Rolls Recipe

  • ½ Cup (125ml) Whole Milk
  • ¾ Cup (150 grams /3 oz) Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 4 Tablespoons (56.8 grams) Butter, Melted
  • ½ Cup Water, Temperature of 115 Degrees
  • 2 Packages of Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • About 4 Cups (480 grams/17 oz) All-Purpose Flour
  • Additional Butter to Top

Instructions;

  1. In a small saucepan with a heavy bottom, scald milk by bringing it to a boil while stirring constantly. Once it starts to boil, please remove it from the heat and continue to stir to slightly cool it down.
  2. In a small bowl, combine two teaspoons of the sugar, warm water (115 degrees), and yeast. Allow the yeast to proof for about 5-10 minutes.
  3. Add the proofed yeast, remaining sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and cooled milk to the bowl of a standing mixer. Mix until combined.
  4. Once combined, add flour in ½ cup increments, mixing as you go.
  5. Keep adding flour until it becomes a ball, elastic, and slightly tacky. Continue kneading for about 5-8 minutes or until smooth.
